Enugu State Government Declares Today Work-free Day

The Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Iheanacho Chime has declared Thursday, 25th September, 2014 a work free day in Enugu State. A statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Chuks Ugwoke said this was to enable Enugu State citizens and other residents to participate fully in the rally in honour of President Goodluck Jonathan, organized by the Enugu State Movement for the Re-election of President Jonathan (EMJ).

The grand rally will hold at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu by 10 am.

According to the Statement, all schools, markets, banks and other financial institutions in Enugu State, will be closed on that date as a consequence of the work free day.
