American publisher Chronicle Book's new paperback featuring comprehensive collection of Star Wars action figures will be released on November 28.
The new book title "Star Wars: The Ultimate Action Figure Collection" features more than 2,500 Star Wars action figures produced and seen over the last 35 years. The collection is compiled by well known author and collector of Star Wars memorabilia Stephen J. Sansweet.
According to a post on the official website of Chronicle Books, "Fans and collectors can finally trace the evolution of each character in toy form from the time of their first appearance through the designs of today, with pages of amazing and inventive variations crafted to tell the stories of Luke Skywalker, Darth Maul, and literally hundreds more."
The new collection reveals an extensive and detailed illustration of popular and limited edition Star Wars action figures that have been showcased on animation, books, video games, television series and movies in the wide realm of the expanded Star Wars universe.
The author Steve Sansweet has been the most recognized accumulator of Star Wars collectibles, having the world's largest private collection. He has served as the "Head of Fan Relations" at Lucas Film, also working as the Director of Content Management. He has already written fourteen books on Star Wars to his credit, including The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia (2008) and "Star Wars: 1,000 Collectibles – Memorabilia and Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away (2009)"
