Technology: NOKIA to Launch Window 8 Phones By November 2, 2012

Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 will be released on November 2 for AT&T subscribers, International Business Times said
Windows Phone 8 features :It represents a huge step forward from its predecessor, Windows Phone 7, by bringing some overdue features to the table and introducing some unexpected new ones.
Key features that Windows Phone 8 gets from Windows include Internet Explorer 10, complete with the phishing filter and SmartScreen application reputation service to make it harder for malicious websites to trick you into giving away personal information like credit card details or downloading malware.

Sources familiar with Nokia’s plans have said that the company is working with Microsoft and AT&T to undergo numerous tests required to approve the Windows Phone 8 handset within that time frame.
Reuters also points to a November release date for Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 device in Europe as well, citing sources at European telecoms operators on Friday. This launch window comes approximately two months after Apple is expected to launch its highly anticipated iPhone 5, which is expected to be announced on Sept. 12.
During the Sept. 5 keynote, Nokia did not mention any news about which carrier would be offering its new Windows Phone 8 handsets. However, Verizon has confirmed that the carrier will be selling multiple Windows Phone 8 handsets in Q4 of 2012, according to CNET.
