Large quantity of rotten chicken
has been consfiticated in Owerri, Imo State by Consumer Protection council-CPC.
The State coordinator of Consumer Protection Council in Imo State made this
known to newsmen in a two-day sensitization workshop for market people and
allied products marketer s in the area. Edeson Online News correspondent, Mr.
Chris Okafor who attended the workshop reported that Imo State was becoming a
dumping ground for fake and unwholesome products and that CPC is on the verge to stop the
circulation of such products in Owerri as well as other states in Nigeria.

STATE to Have Steady Power Supply Very Soon::
Kaduna State governor, Patrick
Yakuwa has reiterated his commitment to ensure that the State is ranked among
the best in Nigeria. He is taking steps to build a 30 mega watts of Solar Power
that will generate electricity for the State in the next 25 years. He revealed
to Newsmen that the state is partnering with a German firm for the construction
of the solar power which is worth over 50 million Euros. He added that the
project will provide employment for youths as the German experts will train
them In operating and maintenance of the machine.

maybe 'finish what they
started in the Big Brother House'. When
asked if he planned to propose to the singer, Prezzo replied yes! He's
trying to make people believe he hasn't seen or spoken to Goldie since he came

Prezzo maybe available but Goldie may not be available. It would be noted that
PREZZO has been separated from his wife for over three years now.

It has been rumoured that Nigerian born ‘Kukere’ singer, IYANYA is
dating a Ghanaian actress, The singer and Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson were

7. MAN bags 27 Years In JAIL::
Anders
Behring Breivik, the man who killed 77 people in a bomb attack and gun rampage
just over a year ago, was last week sentenced to 21 years in prison by a
Norwegian court. Breivik, 33, was charged with voluntary homicide and
committing acts of terror over the attacks in Oslo and Utoya Island on July 22,
2011.

KENYA:
Kenya's education minister has sacked two top education officers after
the deadly fire at a private junior school near the lakeside city of Kisumu.
Eight girls died on last week’s Wednesday night when they were unable to open

Debt-struck photography pioneer
Kodak says it may sell off its still-camera film and photo paper divisions. The
firm has already stopped making digital cameras as part of efforts to reduce
its losses after filing for bankruptcy protection in January. It has also been
trying to raise funds by selling off more than 1,100 digital imaging patents.
It had originally planned to announce a buyer last week, but said
"discussions continue" and a deal might not happen.
