Fayose May Suffer More As Police Vows To Withdraw His Security Aides

An attempt by Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose to hold a rally against police advice sparked heavy shooting in Fajuyi area of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. It was learnt that Fayose was teargassed by riot policemen as he was attending to complaints from People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
members that they had been denied access to the Fajuyi Pavilion, venue of the proposed rally.

An eyewitness revealed that one of the canisters fired from outside the Government House landed very close to Fayose. The governor inhaled the teargas and collapsed.
The source said Fayose was revived by his security aides and party members and was taken to the Government House Clinic. The governor later emerged from the clinic with neck brace to address the crowd that gathered at the Government House grounds.

Fayose alleged that he was slapped and kicked by a police officer. He also alleged that an instruction has been given to kill him.

However, The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Operations, Mr. Habila Joshak, has said the security details of important personalities in Ekiti will be withdrawn on Saturday — the day of governorship election.
The Police boss added that no party will be allowed to hold any political rally that is not approved by the Police until the election is held.

This country has been in this mess because we weep in sentiment to issues of great concern...I have been in Ekiti since weekend and I can tell you with out any contradiction that APC are trying everything humanly possible to take that state. People are referring to what happened in 2014 to justify what happened to Fayose today. But, I think as a nation we should be progressing not retrogressive because 4years is a long time in the life of a nation. We need to lay a better precedent to have a better tomorrow. If electing a new leader is sincerely about getting someone who wants to serve the people I don't think there should be any desperation rather it should be about the wishes of the people.

I am surprised that Fayose's stunt is catching in on you sir. Fayose was never at the scene when the police fired the tear gas. Try to get your information right. According to the Government House sources, Fayose was enjoying himself taking gulder when the incident happened. He was informed that police fired the tear gas when Fayose's supporters threatened to burst out of the Government House for a street show that was never permitted by the police.

This is not the first time Fayose is acting in this manner. He once organised a fake assassination theory when he asked his security aides to shoot his vehicle on a Lagos bridge to later ‎claim that assassins sent by the opposition shot at him. In the course of investigation, the security aide that fired the shot confessed that Fayose was acting a stunt.

Do you remember when Fayose set his G-Wagon on fire in Lagos because EFCC agents were on the trail of his car driven by his aides and loaded with hard currency suspected to be proceeds of crimes?

Fayose is a man that will wrap a copy of English dictionary with the back cover of the Holy Bible and use it to swear to con his victims.

Did you see him how he wept when Dr Daramola was assassinated? Do you remember the question he asked ‎from his aides after that weeping session? He asked them: "Did I weep very well that will convince the people that I was innocent?" Do you recall that he did the same when Omolafe Aderiye was assassinated in Ado-Ekiti? Later nko, who was being fingered as Aderiye's alleged killer?

I can give several other instances where this crook will act this way‎ to deceive the public.

The question we need to ask is: in the crowd of about 1,000 people, how come that it was only Fayose that was affected by the fumes of tear gas?

He claimed that his neck was broken. Can tear gas cause a break of the neck?

Now he is saying that he wanted to go to the hospital even though all that he is planning is to escape from Nigeria.

This is pure foolery.

Fayose escaped being lynched by taxi and bus drivers after refusing to pay them for obeying curfew yesterday.

Even the commercial drivers are angry with him. He is paying them N2,000 instead of N10,000 he promised to pay them.

Okada riders have finished Fayose. They attacked him and wanted to mob him and that was what attracted the police to the scene. The police saved him by teargasing the scene of the incident.

Everybody dispersed while Fayose started acting and pretended to have suffocated and those around to help did not feel the impact of the tear gas.
