The event is being organised by Google, and it brings together Google users, partners, bloggers, fashion designers, innovators, entreprenuers or anyone striving to succeed in any industry.
It is the biggest Tech/Entrepreneur event in Lagos State this year. Students, Youth Corpers, company owners, musicians, artists, ...all came to showcase or connect with like minds at the event. The venue, Landmark Event Centre Victoria Island Lagos, was agog with mammoth crowd as Lagosians jostled to find their way inside the training hall.
I attended the Publishers Masterclass July 26 from 2pm to 4pm.
The masterclass was for bloggers and online journalists. It was anchored by google experts. We were trained on Google technologies and how we can leverage them to support our career.
There was a roundtable discussion with The Guardian Newspaper Head Of Ad, Mr. Kola Akintola who disclosed how The Guardian manages its online presence and that the firm first launched its website in 2001.
There was also classes for other industries which wasn't my field.

Obanla, it was yesterday event I attended. Though. The masterclass for bloggers was good. I enjoyed it yesterday

@Boma, I haven't confirm that yet. But I will check. If true, it will be limited as it would affect the economic gains of telecom companies
