President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday signed the Not-Too-Young-To-Run Bill into law.
Buhari signed the bill into law at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, barely two days after he promised to do so.
The law reduces the age qualification for president from 40 to 30; governor from 35 to 30; senator from 35 to 30; House of Representatives membership from 30 to 25 and State House of Assembly membership from 30 to 25.
In his Democracy Day address on Tuesday, the President had promised to sign the bill into law “in a few days’ time.”
AHEAD of the 2019 presidential election, President Muhammadu Buhari has told the youths to drop any ambition of running for Presidency in the next year’s election. President Buhari who made the plea Thursday, when he signed the “Not Too Young To Run” bill into law at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa Abuja, told the youths to stop any campaign for the forthcoming Elections and keep their Presidential ambition till 2023.

That is to say...it will still rotate within the children of the elite(the same politicians who stole our common wealth) that's why am not dancing about it. Endy, it's only in Nigeria that you need to have up to N50M to run election....how many of our youth can afford that?
