Uproar As Donald Trump Declares Jerusalem As Israel's Capital

Donald Trump has defied overwhelming global opposition by declaring US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but insisted that the highly controversial move would not derail his own administration’s bid to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In remarks delivered in the diplomatic reception room of the White House, Trump called his decision “a long overdue” step to advance the peace process.

Trump’s announcement provoked immediate condemnation from world leaders, who had previously denounced the move as a destabilising factor in an already tense and turbulent region.
The French president, Emmanuel Macron, said: “This decision is a regrettable decision that France does not approve of and goes against international law and all the resolutions of the UN security council.”
The move was also condemned by US allies Turkey and Egypt.

Conflict resolution requires telling the truth and acting in the light of it, no matter whose bull is gored. And that is what President Donald Trump has picked up courage and done. Therefore, only people who don't like the truth will not concur with him. And if telling the truth is not a way to peaceful coexistence, then, to hell with your so-called peace!!

Like Trump said, other past Presidents of America knew the truth about Jerusalem but they did not have the courage to act in line with it.
