FLOOD IN LAGOS: 7 Places To Avoid Renting House Or Building House In Lagos

Thousands of Lagos residents have been displaced while property worth billions of naira have been destroyed following the frequent downpours in the past few days. If you plan to rent a house or own a house in Lagos please avoid the below-listed places so you don't suffer flooding that is usually associated there during the season. 


1. LEKKI
Mostly affected are residents of Lekki axis, who now have to navigate through pools of water as their roads are totally submerged by flooding.

2. BANANA ISLAND
As the mainland experiences massive flooding, some areas on the Island have not been left out in this disaster as residents of the reclaimed Ilubinrin, Park View and Banana Island are said to have been submerged.

3. ISOLO
The residents of Peace home valley estate, Oke Afa, Isolo in Ejigbo local council develop­ment area of Lagos state, are uneasy and scared.They are holding their breath over the looming flood that will once again sack them from their homes.

4. BARIGA
The Bariga area of the state has also experienced flooding this rainy season. Some residents are said to have been rendered homeless.

5. KETU:
The Alapere area of Ketu, Lagos, has not been left out in the flooding, following the continuous downpour.

6. OWORONSOKI:
On the mainland, both sides of the Oshodi to Anthony through Oworonsoki areas, particularly around UPS courier company, are again being threatened by massive flooding.

7. ABORU IYANA IPAJA: 
Few days ago, the community was ravaged by flood after non-stop rainfall.We hope the government is able to find a lasting solution to the problem of flooding in the state.

Endy it is a lie cos there is no flood in ketu no matter the rain OK. Imagine you didn't mention ikoyi and VI that was flooded on Saturday.
