Endy Edeson Expresses Bitterness Over Poor Internet Service By GLO

Premium Nigerian blogger, Endy Edeson is presently not happy with Glo Network due to poor internet service, noting that it has affected his online business.

According to him;

“I am not writing this to tarnish the good image of Glo network but to draw the attention of the company on their ongoing poor internet service in Lagos and its environs. I was seriously affected by it because I use Glo for my internet data subscription. I was supposed to deliver an online job for a client last week but because of slow internet service by Glo it has been postponed to be delivered this week.
I have to opt out of Glo and opt in on MTN to complete the job. Friends and associates who use Glo are also complaining about the network. Some of them have even destroyed their Glo Sim cards due to annoyance. This problem has been lingering for over one month”

However, the internet business enthusiast, Mr. Edeson said he might switch back to Glo if their service is restored.

my brother Glo has no image talk more of tarnishing, they claim to be grand data master, but their network is just rubbish, entirely rubbish, twice i bought glo sim and add 1k 3gb data, twice i threw it away, those people r deciving Nigerians, i dont know what ncc and cpc are doing about it

I reside in Enugu. glo has been bad as hell since this yr . i subscribed on 28 January ..not sure Whetter i v used up to 20mb owing to poor network. i resorted for Mtn on Feb 4th. i wish i would see a glo official in a lonely place so i could teach him and glo a bit of lesson. my data can't go just like that there must be a revenge

Since Glo has launched their low data tariff last year, I tried switching from my monthly data sub on Etisalat to Glo, but to tell you, its been frustrating using the internet during the day. I can remember when I tried using the hotspot on my laptop to compose an email. But lo and behold, it took me almost an half hour to send a composed mail. To use the net on Glo during the day is so poor. its always in snail mode and fluctuating. But as from 12am or thereafter, its somehow fast. I believe they should find a lasting solution to this problem asap instead of wailing on that "Grandmaster in Data" syndrome. What's the essence of monthly data subscription and you cannot enjoy it. Etisalat is still the fastest since inception. Oluspicyinspires reporting live and direct from Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.

I thought the network issue was only at Lagos Mainland but when I visited Lagos Island last week, it was even worst and GLO office is around there. @Salako: that's true. @Ogbodo: you are right. for now, MTN is the fastest. That's what am using. @Gilbert: I pray they see this post and work on their service ASAP @oKANYA: even in Ota too. that's bad

Let me blow your mind again dear, last two weeks that I visited their centre at Palms Mall to complain on some issues. I was surprised that even there "the system to resolve issues is down, and please you can visit our other centre to resolve your issues..." Its obvious that their centres are now places where one can buy recharge cards, sim cards, drink cold water from the dispenser, relax n feel the cozy ac. Even their officials are now professional gossiping agents.

thougt i was the only one, with all the mega data their service coverage is an apology. It beats me silly i have service 3g on the edge of my balcony but once i get into the apartment it drops to edge and internet stops
