Billionaire business tycoon, Folorunsho Alakija, has revealed that
she didn't go to university because it was not her destiny as she was
able to achieve her dreams without a degree. She also denied sleeping
with top
politicians to become rich and famous
Alakija, one of the richest black women in the world, made this known on Thursday at the Excellence in Leadership program, an annual event organised by Daystar Christian Centre, Ikeja, Lagos. She motivated the audience by saying that she never allowed a lack of university education to suppress her dreams and ambition.
Folorunsho Alakija is a Nigerian businesswoman who is the richest African woman and also the richest woman of black woman in the world. In 2014 she just unseated Oprah Winfrey as the richest woman of African descent in the world. She is a business tycoon involved in the fashion, oil and printing industries.
Despite her lack of university education, she was appointed as the Chancellor of Osun State University earlier this year by the The Governor of the State of Osun, Rauf Aregbesola.
