Edeson Online News gathered that Charles Okah who is also an inmate at the Kuje prison has been appointed as the new leader of the Rebranded Indigenous People of Biafra (TRIPOB) and the Renegade Indigenous People of Biafra (RENIPOB).
However, Okah stated that as the new leader of TRIPOB, he will work towards uniting Biafrans back to Nigeria and make Nigerians irrespective of their tribes live as ONE BIG FAMILY.
He also noted that Nnamdi Kanu shouldn't be hailed as the President of Biafra as nothing of such position exists in Nigeria.
Charles Okah, an Ijaw man and the leader of the Movement For The Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) is believed to be the mastermind of the 2010 Independence Day bombing in Abuja. He is presently serving with Nnamdi Kanu at Kuje prison.
