HEALTH TIPS: 5 Health Benefits of Taking Small Amount of Alcohol

When I was 16 years old ( teenager), I suffered terrible hangover after taking too much alcohol just to impress my then Igbo girlfriend, Chidinma (Surname Withheld) at a party with other friends. I wanted her to
know I can take alcohol just like other guys, but it turned out to be an embarrassing moment. Chidinma did not end the relationship because of the hangover, rather she advised me not to take too much alcohol again.

As an adult, I don’t smoke and I don’t drink alcohol, I know it’s not good for my health. Like they say, “too much of everything is bad”. If you must take alcohol, make sure it’s for a good reason. Don’t repeat the mistake I made in my teenage years. Don’t drink too much for the fun of it or to impress others.
The worth of a man or woman is not determined by the bottles of alcohol he or she takes. If alcohol ( small or big amount) is not good for your body. Don’t take it at all, the consequences is not just hangover but serious health problems.

Today, I want to share with you 5 health benefits of taking little amount of alcohol. The benefits are as follows:
1. PREVENTS TYPE 2 DIABETES: Healthy adults who drink one to two glasses of alcohol per day have a decreased chance of developing type 2 diabetes. Diabetes is a problem with a body that causes blood glucose (sugar) levels to rise higher than normal.

2. PREVENTS COLD: moderate drinking of alcohol per week, particularly red wine, one could see a 60-percent reduction in the risk of developing a cold

3. CURES PENIS ITCHING: This works and is recommend. Rubbing alcohol on your scrotum or penis can help reduce or stop penile itching. Rubbing alcohol is another effective home remedy for Itching Penis because it kills the fungus causing the infection. Plus, being a drying agent, it helps keep the affected area dry; fungi thrive in warm, moist environments. Dip a cotton ball in 90 percent isopropyl alcohol. Dab it on the affected area. It will sting at first but after a few treatments the sting will go off.

4. INCREASE YOUR SEXUAL DRIVE: Contrary to prior beliefs, newer research has found that moderate drinking might actually protect against erectile dysfunction in the same way that drinking red wine might benefit heart disease.

5. PREVENTS HEART DISEASE: it can lower your risk of cardiovascular disease. Moderate taking of alcohol can prevent the formation of small blood clots that can block arteries in the heart, neck, and brain, the ultimate cause of many heart attacks and the most common kind of stroke.
I believe you have learnt one or two things from this article.
You can share your hangover experience or other health benefits of alcohol you know. Thank you.

@Becky: My dear sister, yes oooooo. If you see a man with itching scrotum or penis, tell him to rub alcohol (Chelsea) on it. It will reduce the itching or even cure it. @Onuh: yes, poor hygiene can lead to that, but in a case where a man has itching penis despite good hygiene, rubbing alcohol is recommended
