Dr. D.K. Olukoya is one of the few pastors I respect so much in Nigeria. Today, July 15, is his birthday.
Let me briefly tell you some facts you should know about him. Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, also known as DKO, is a Nigerian scientist, clergyman and founder of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Church (MFM). He founded the church in Yaba, Lagos State, in 1989. As a church, it seeks to convert people and reconcile them with God by instilling in them a sense of prophecy.
Dr. Olukoya (DKO) was born in Akure, Ondo State. He graduated from University of Lagos in 1980 with a first-class degree in Microbiology. He won a scholarship to study for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics at the University of Reading, United Kingdom.
He is married to Mrs. Shade Olukoya with children. He became a born-again Christian in 1974. As at the time of filing this report, Edeson Online News is yet to ascertain how old he is, but we believe he is more than 50 years old.
