this is one tribesman i remain eternally grateful to associate with. I met him after his wonderful book THE CONCUBINE... here he describes such ladies who have spiritual husbands so they must not marry any man on earth..only to fall in love and be a lady friend...his book that touched and still touches me the most is THE GREAT PONDS. here he illustrates the typical Ikwerre culture as it affects lands... land grabs... oaths... sure... the great ponds of WAGABA. He played his part... for several years the CONCUBINE was a waec recommended text for literature. May his noble and gentle soul rest in peace.

@Enyinda: you are on point. Ikwerre meka oh Meka oh. Mgbara a hooooo..... i read his book 'The Concumbine' back in secondary school. One thing i like about his novels is that he used ikwerre names as characters. I believe you read his play "Peppersoup".
