Ike Ekweremadu was born on this day May 12, 1962 in Enugu State. He
has a Bachelor Degree & Masters Degree in Law from the University
of Nigeria, Nsukka and a PhD in Law from the University of Abuja. He was
called to Nigerian bar in 1987. He is currently Deputy President of the
Nigerian Senate for the third consecutive time. He has been the deputy
senate president of Nigeria since 2003.He was a Local Government Chairman in Enugu, Secretary to Enugu State government and Chief of Staff of the Enugu State Government House.. He won the best Local Government Chairman in Enugu State during his tenure,
