CRIME NEWS: Do You Think Boko-Haram Now Disguise as Fulani Herdsmen ?

The federal government of Nigeria claims that it has stamped out Boko-Haram but the country is still facing another security challenge being perpetrated by the infamous Fulani Herdsmen. They have caused untold hardship and killed many innocent persons within the country.

Many are of the view that Boko Haram are now pretending to be Fulani Herdsmen to carry out their deadly plans. However, President Buhari in a statement today ordered the investigation of

Fulani Herdsmen activities and promised to stamp it out just as he did to Boko-Haram.

1) armed fulani herdsmen are not boko haram, we in Benue state and some few states in the middle belt have been constantly experiencing these attacks as far back as 2007. They come with their attacks this time of the year almost on a yearly basis. We have been shouting about it for years but no one really paid attention till now because it has spread towards south and still going. I can say much on the fulani attacks with details and names to show it has been there for long and sponsored by powerful people but I guess that will not be part of the question you asked.
2) We can effectively counter terrorism if we create a security structure that can effectively respond to these acts of terror or breakdown of law and order in less than an hour in any part of the country it occurs. That is the only way. It is possible especially with the advance technologies available.
