Pastor Enoch Adeboye became the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God after the founder of the Church, Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi died. He has a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from University of Nigeria Nnsukka and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from University of Lagos and was a part time lecturer at the University of Ilorin. He joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1973.
He was born on March 2, 1942.
