CURRENT AFFAIRS/SPORTS: A Kenyan, Abraham Kator Wins Lagos City Marathon

A Kenyan, Abraham Kator has emerged the winner of the much publicized Lagos City Marathon sponsored by Access Bank after beating  more than 1000 contestants while Halima Huseen Kayo emerged winner of the Female Category. The overral winner of the marathon goes home with a whooping sum of $50,000. A Nigerian Gyan from Plateau State came 7th and was awarded N1 Million

Personalities are the event inlcudes: Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai, Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, a Cameroon national, current President of the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA).

The event held today February 6, 2016.
