Two Nigerian homosexual partners simply identified as Abdul Lawal and
Umar Tahir wanted to take their love affair to another level but their
plans was foiled by Nigerian Police. Abdul Lawan is the husband while
Umar Tahir is supposed to be the wife.
The marriage ceremony was
to hold on Saturday February 6, 2016 at a popular hotel in Jiwa
Community of Abuja, King’s Land Hotel. According to Edeson Online News
checks, the podium was already set for the marriage
to take place,
invited guests were already seated
Immediately the two GAY lovers
arrived the venue, Nigeria Police Force drafted from the Gwagwa Police
Station invaded the scene and arrested them, the owner of the hotel was
also arrested.
It would be recalled that on January 7, 2014,
former President Goodluck Jonathan signed into law the Bill which
prohibits same sex marriage, offenders face 14 years jail term.
