It was earlier reported this week that some group of Biafran
agitators who claim to be Niger Delta ex-militants hijacked an oil
tanker ship as a protest for the Nigerian government to release IPOB
leader Nnamdi Kanu. The Biafran Militants issued a 31-day ultimatum to
the Federal Government to free Kanu otherwise they will blow up the
vessel in flames and kill all the crew members regardless of their
nationality.
New reports indicates that Nigeria
Army is working
assiduously to track the Biafran Militants and treat them like common
criminals. If they dare kill any of the crew members or cause havoc to
said hijacked vessel, they will face death penalty.

and understanding to handle this case well so it doesn't escalate to
