upheld the election of PDP governors, Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State
and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State. It would be recalled that Dr
Alex Otti’s of APGA was declared Governor-Elect of Abia State by Appeal
Court after it ruled against the sitting governor, Okezie Ikpeazu
Also, Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja nullified the Akwa Ibom State
governorship election of April 11, removing the declared winner, Udom
Emmanuel, from office. Mr. Emmanuel’s election was challenged by the
candidate of the APC, Umana Umana,
Supreme Court ruling today vindicated the two PDP governors.
