RELIGION/WEIRD NEWS: God told Prophet to Set Church Member on Fire During Sunday Service

Edeson Online News has gathered that a Prophet of the Celestial Church, Unity Street, Abule-Egba, Lagos has set his church member on fire as directed by the almighty God.We learnt the Prophet claimed the woman will not suffer burns when he sets her ablaze because God told him to do so. The incident happened during sermon, the prophet felt the presence of God in the Church and heard the voice of God clearly

instructing him to set the woman ablaze.

The victim, Madam Bosede joined the church less than a month. Below is what the Victime told newsmen

: “Our prophet said the spirit of God whispered to him that I would not burn if he sets me on fire. When I came out, they poured kerosene on my body and set me ablaze. But, unfortunately, I was burnt beyond recognition and before the other church members could get water, the deed had already been done.”

Some members, however, left the church, doubting their prophet’s credibility, adding: “We cannot worship here again, who knows who the spirit will ask him to burn next.” . . A resident of the area, Nkechi, however said: “I believe it’s the sins of the victim that made her burn, the prophet of God could not have lied.”
