CURRENT AFFAIRS: Jubilation as Civil Servants in Cross Rivers Recieve January Salary

Cross River State civil servants are over the moon as Governor Ben
Ayade fulfied his promise to pay January salary before month-end. It was
earlier reported that the State Governor promise on the 12th of January
that salaries of workers in the state will be paid on or before January
15th to cushion the effects of “January economic hardship”. Governor Ayade who had given reasons for the early payment of salaries
said the workers will be broke by now due to the Christmas and New Year
expenditures. Workers in the state
were paid their December salaries on
the 15th. The development shows that Cross River state is the first
state to have paid workers this year.

breaking news is crazy! Is it not the right of any worker to be paid?
If he want to pay before 20th no wahala. His People voted him in to work
and not to do otherwise.
