POLITICS: Senate President To Read Ministerial List Next Tuesday, October 6, 2015
Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki this evening received
the list of Ministerial nominees sent to the Senate for screening by
President Muhammadu Buhari. The list was submitted in a sealed
envelope by Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari and
Senator Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on

POLITICS: Buhari to Resign if He Fails to Name His Ministers Today, September 30, 2015 ?
The Presidency on Wednesday said President Muhammadu Buhari would
keep his promise of making public his ministerial list latest by the end
of September. The Senate had on Wednesday adjourned its plenary to
Tuesday, October 8, 2015, without reading the names of the would-be
ministers. There are strong indications that President Muhammadu
Buhari has forwarded the names of his ministerial nominees to the Senate
for screening, reports Daily Trust.

Former Governor Timipre Sylva was on Wednesday declared winner of
rescheduled Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship
Election primary held today in Yenagoa, the state capital, after polling
981 votes out of 1147 accredited delegates. Also the former
managing director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief
Timi Alaibe, on Wednesday withdrew from the December 5 governorship
election in Bayelsa State, citing party interest.
