The Presidency on Wednesday said President Muhammadu Buhari would
keep his promise of making public his ministerial list latest by the end
of September. The Senate had on Wednesday adjourned its plenary to
Tuesday, October 8, 2015, without reading the names of the would-be
ministers. There are strong indications that President Muhammadu
Buhari has forwarded the names of his ministerial nominees to the Senate
for screening, reports Daily Trust.
Buhari’s Special Adviser on
National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang, submitted the
names to the upper chamber on Tuesday night.
Many senators
confirmed the receipt of the list but would prefer not to comment since
they did not know the content of the message delivered by Senator Enang.
To further authenticate the news, Senator Saraki said via his Twitter
handle that he has received the Ministers Lists from the presidency.
There are indications that the president will be under pressure to
resign if he fails to name his cabinet today as promised.

Our leaders are not time-conscious.
conflicts and unnecessary policy digresion are the two major factors
impeding the growth of this country. why RUSH NOW when we have millions
of seconds at our disposal to do things. Our leaders should know that
there should be a game change, our leaders should be fast and Meticulous
in policy/promise implementations
