Edeson Online News is shocked when it learnt that politics in Nigeria may soon become a deadly affair. According to news making the rounds, the People’s Democratic Party PDP is accusing APC members of plotting to kill their key members. The national Publicity Secretary of PDP, Olisah Metuh disclosed this in a press conference to address the attempt assassination of Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekwerremadu. Metuh alledged that Ekweremmadu is not the only person targeted to be murdered. Others marked for death in the list are:
1. Uche Secondus - PDP National Chairman
2. Dr. Haliru Bello, - The acting national chairman of the Board of Trustees.
3. Godswill Akpabio – Senate Minority Leader
4. Hon. Leo Ogor – Minority Leader in the House of Representatives
It would be recalled that on November 17, 2015, there was an attempt to kill Ike Ekweremadu on his way to work. Senator Oluremi Tinubu (Wife of Bola Tinubu) is accused of trying to take the place of Ekweremmadu in the senate as the deputy senate president. This was vivid yesterday, when Oluremi Tinubu went ahead at the plenary to occupy the senate president’s sit and attempted to assume duties associated with the office.
The PDP alleged that APC has hired a killer squared from Foreign countries to wipe out their key members
