POLITICS: President Buhari to Visit IRAN on Sunday for a Crucial Meeting

We've been informed that Nigeria's president Muhammadu Buhari has concluded plans to visit IRAN to participate in the third "GAS EXPORTING COUNTRIES FORUM "Buhari and leaders of Iran, Russia, Qatar, the Netherlands, Venezuela, Oman, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates, Bolivia and other member-countries of the GECF are expected to review the current market outlook on gas.The leaders would also discuss strategies for boosting gas production during their meeting in Tehran.
The President will be accompanied
on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama; the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola; the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu and the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.).

He is due back in Abuja on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.”
It might interest you to know that Nigeria account for 42% of global gas production, 70 percent of global gas reserves, 40% of pipeline transmission of gas and 65% of the global trade in Liquefied Natural Gas..

You are so myiopic Mercy,I mean no insults. Its necessary for a country like naija to be in d fore front of intl meetings such as dis. Check out d stat just listed here,its as if all d gas is dormant here in our great naija. Let's speak positive of our country and optimist

I have neva insulted anybody on social media,am only trying to correct our negative mindset about our own govt,coz we want 2 diversify doesn't mean we can't or shudnt participate in intl meetings to drive our own goals,gas is a very important ingredient for economic development i.e power,cooking,in benin gas is be adopted to replace petrol in pub trans
