On June
25, 2009, the entire world was in shock as it was announced that Michael
Joseph Jackson, perhaps the most talented entertainer of the century,
had passed away at the age of 50. Jackson was only weeks shy of his
50-city “This Is It” Tour before he was found unresponsive in his famous
Neverland Ranch home in California. He leaves behind his mother,
father, seven siblings and his three children, Paris and both Princes to
carry on his legacy. Too many artists have been influenced by
Michael to name, however, his mark on music is forever etched in stone
in the form of countless Grammys, American Music Awards and other
lifetime achievement recognition Jackson has received from the
entertainment world. Not to mention the infamous “moonwalk” made popular
by MJ will eternally live through some dancer’s shoes.
The
