LIVE UPDATES: The May 29 Inauguration Day "Handover" Goodluck to Buhari

Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria's newly-elected president, will be inaugurated today as his predecessor Goodluck Jonathan steps down from office. The ceremony is currently ongoing. Yesterday, Jonathan took Mr Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo, his vice-president-elect, on a tour of the presidential villa, Aso Rock, in Abuja, before submitting the final paperwork for the handover.  Over 50 head of states would be attending the inauguration ceremony of president-elect Muhammudu Buhari. US Secretary of State John Kerry, , Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe Inauguration, South Africa president Jacob Zuma are some of the world leaders that are in the inauguration ground. 

Nigerian famous singer P-Square performed their hit song "E No Easy" at the event.

The Vice President Yomi Osinbajo & President Muhammadu Buhari just took their OATH of office.
