Mr Oscar Okoro read:
“The chairman (Manwe) has just directed me to convey the inability of
the INEC chairman to come for the meeting tomorrow (Friday) as a result
of ill-health.
“Accordingly, the meeting of tomorrow
(yesterday) will not hold. A new date will be communicated please. All
inconveniences are regretted,” a statement by the acting clerk of the
National Assembly.
The committee had noted that the purpose of
the meet was to check the current burning issues on 2015 general
elections and to proffer necessary solutions.
The National and
National Assembly elections are to be held February 14 while
gubernatorial and House of Assembly polls are scheduled for February 28.
The committee are attempting to check INEC’s level of preparedness for
the next month’s election, funding, security issues, franchise of
internally displaced persons and sundry issues arising from concerns by
Nigerians.

Its
APC's fault according to PDP and its PDP's fault according to APC so
they can manipulate the elections. That's what we might hear from these 2
useless parties we have. If Nigerians would open up their mind they
would not even bother to vote as the elections are always a sham. Rarely
do you get a different side of the coin.
