POLITICS: "Resign Now", Tambuwal Tells President Jonathan… As Tinubu Goes Hard On Him Again

The embattled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, yesterday, came down hard on President Goodluck Jonathan, asking him to resign from office for running “a system that does not have the interest of the country at heart,” Premium Times newspaper reports. Addressing supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ilorin, Kwara State, during the formal declaration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for a second term, the Speaker warned that should the president failed to do so, Nigerian voters should revolt against him at the February presidential poll.

A graduate of Lead City University, Ibadan, who passed out with 1st-class honors has been sentenced to one-year imprisonment after pleading guilty to a two-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretences. Olakunle Akanni was sentenced yesterday Nov. 4th at the Ikeja High Court in Lagos for defrauding a 77 year-old American woman, Diana Huizenga, of over 12,000 dollars through an internet love scam. One of his accomplices, Adesina Akinsola, 30, was also given a similar sentence by the judge but adjourned the sentencing of their co-accused, 30-year-old Dele Oshuntogun, till Nov. 17.

I have never seen Mexican movie as interesting as this one. In fact, i don't miss any episode on AIT. The story takes place in Aguazul (Blue Water) where Montserrat lives. Montserrat is a beautiful girl and her mother wants her to marry a wealthy man. Montserrat, despite doing everything her mother tells her, secretly maintains a relationship with José Luis of the marina, whom she plans to marry, though Jose Luis was a naval corporal with no wealth. Dimitrio, Montserrat's brother, discovers her relationship with José Luis and decides to tell his mother, and Graciela tries everything to separate the two through intrigue and lies.
