The daughter
of former governor of Delta state James Ibori, Ms Erhiatake Ibori has
won the PDP House of Assembly ticket for Ethiope West constituency. Ms
Ibori clinched the party's ticket during the state PDP primaries which
held this past Saturday November 29th. Other contenders for the ticket
boycotted the primaries making her emerge the winner. Former
Governor of Delta State James Ibori, who was jailed in UK after he was
convicted of stealing $80m meant for his State, is still making money
through his companies. The story of former Delta State governor James
Ibori is not unlike that of the late Colombian drug lord PabloWell, people fear if IBORI’s daughter won’t follow his FATHER'S footsteps.

wasn't as bad as people say nor as great as some say he was. But when
it comes to the first set of PDP Governors from 99 to 07, he was better
than most of them. Compare him to Uduaghan and you'll see.
