A middle-aged man reportedly lost his
life while having sex with a yet-to-be identified commercial sex worker
in one of the popular brothels on St. Michael's Road, Aba, Abia state.
The deceased identified as Ogadinma Chukwu is said to have slumped and died atop the prostitute who called on her colleagues and the brothel workers for help. They then carried the dead body and dumped it behind the brothel.
Officers from the Aba Central Police Station found N20,000, a cheque book, ATM card and a Man 'O' War identity card bearing the name, Mr. Ogadinma Chukwu on him.
Though the cause of death is yet unknown, people are of the opinion that he could have died from a cardiac arrest or exhaustion as he was foaming.
It was gathered that after the incident, people at the brothel, traders and shop owners in the area fled to avoid being arrested.
The manager, Mr. Nnamdi, could not be reached for comment.
The outgoing commander, Man 'O' War, Aba, Mr. Uche Egbuziem, identified Chukwu as a member of the proscribed Man 'O' War Association of Nigeria. He said the deceased and some members of the defunct group still used their old identity cards as a cover up.
According to a senior police officer, the body has been deposited in an undisclosed mortuary, pending autopsy to determine the cause of the death.
