…He Will Be Buried on Friday This Week…
The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, will be holding a tribute and candlelight procession in memory of Veteran actor, Justus Esiri on April 9, 2013 at O’Jez Restaurant, Lagos.
The remains of the “Village Headmaster” who passed away on February 19, 2013 due to complications resulting from diabetes would be buried at his residence in Abraka, Delta State on April 12, 2013.
Another wake by the family will take place on April 9 at The Church of Ascension, Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, with a commendation mass on April 10, at the same venue.
The AGN National Secretary, Yakubu Mohammed, said that the AGN would be hosting the wake in conjunction with the rest of the guilds in Nollywood. He added that a no-work-day will be declared on Friday, April 12, explaining that no production will take place in Nollywood that day.
