Edeson ONLINE News has reliably gathered that popular On-Air presenter with Inspiration FM 92.3 Lagos, CHAZ B has left the station for reasons yet unknown.
The veteran presenter whose real name is CHARLES BRUCE CHUKUMA is loved by many as he has touched millions of audience in his weekday’s Inspirational programme on radio tagged “SHARING LIFE ISSUES with CHAZ B” which aired from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. The Phone-in radio programme encourages people to share their experiences on different life issues and seek advice and help.
CHAZ B was named the ‘Best ON-AIR Personality- Radio’ for 2010 at the Nigeria Media Merit Awards.
His departure from INSPIRATION Fm came as a rude shock to his teeming fans and his listeners. A saddened fan who did not want his name to be in print told EDESON ONLINE NEWS that he will miss CHAZ B on radio.
Another ardent listener by name, CHUCKS said CHAZ B is a great counselor and that his voice is deep, soulful and his advice were so on point.
It would be recalled that in 2011, he left the station for medical reasons and had a successful kidney transplant. During his ‘ill DAYS’ in hospital, he was relieved by another amiable radio personality, UWANA UDOBANG. It was even rumoured that he left the station for a better offer elsewhere but alas that was not why he went away in 2011, rather because of his kidney failure. After regaining his health, he came back to the station to do what he knows how to do best.
According to our sources, reason of his recent departure from INSPIRATION FM which happened this month MARCH 2013 is still unclear. An anonymous Insider said he may have gone for another medical treatment.
