The show is to kick off on May 26th.
To have a chance to be in the show, potential housemates have to complete online entry forms or printed ones which will be available at MultiChoice offices beginning February 1. Online entry forms are already available on the show’s official website. Submitting in entry forms begun already and it is to last till February 14th.
Entry is open to 14 countries which include Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is also open to persons over the age of 21, who are citizens of one of the participating countries and who either have a valid passport or will be able to obtain one by the end of March according to a statement from Multichoice.
Some of the qualities looked for by producers include being fluent in English, entertaining and passionate about the Big Brother experience. In addition to all this are qualities of tolerance, determination and enthusiasm.
The winner this year will walk away with $300 000.
Last year, South Africa took the Big Brother Africa 7 cash price by Keagan.
