One Direction made the list of highest earning British stars under 30 amassing approximately sh108b, ($42m). They made it to the fifth spot behind Daniel Radcliffe’s £53.3 million, Robert Pattinson’s £38.73 million, Keira Knightley’s £32.7 million and Emma Watson’s £26.5m.
One Direction consists of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik. However, they managed to beat Leona Lewis and Adele.
Heat editor Lucie Cave said of their success, ”One Direction will be thrilled to hear that they’ve burst into heat’s Rich List as the highest new entry at number five. Like any pop stars they’ll be after the number one spot, of course, but if they keep going the way they have been, that might be a reality in 2013.”
