B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G NEWS: Mike Tyson Undergoes Neck Surgery

Reports just reaching Edeson Online NEWS DESK disclosed that 46yr-old renown boxer, Mike Tyson has undergone surgery in a bid to fix a degenerated disc. Supported by a neck brace with a visible scar on his neck, Tyson showed up at a charity auction held by the World Boxing Council and Hublot Watches in Las Vegas. Titanium pins were inserted to support his neck as a result of an old spinal injury which had been causing him pain. Tyson tweeted an explanation on Sunday, writing: “I was damaged before I even entered boxing.”



This comes after New Zealand cancelled his visa because of his rape conviction while Australian immigration authorities are yet to decide whether to let him in.
Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison for the 1991 rape of an 18-year-old woman, Desiree Washington, in an Indianapolis hotel room and served three years before being released on parole.
Born Michael Gerard Tyson, Tyson is well-remembered for biting off one of his opponent’s ear, Evander Holyfield during a heavyweight title bout.
He was later defeated by Lennox Lewis via knockout in the eighth round in June 2002.
