42 year old John Ajene, who resides in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, Tuesday had his penis cut off by his infuriated wife, Mrs. Roseline A
jene for his alleged infidelity. Our reporters gathered from an eyewitness that the aggrieved woman carried out the dastardly act while her husband was deep asleep.

According to the eyewitness, Mrs. Rosaline Ajene who resides with her husband on Ojira Street Otukpo, had few weeks ago accused her of having
extra-marital affair with a young lady (name withheld) who lives on Sabon Gari area of the same town. Mr. Ajene who was said to be visibly enraged by the wife’s unfounded
accusation beat her up mercilessly forcing residents in the neigbourhood to intervene in the ensuing skirmish.

Our source stressed however that when all seemed to have calmed down and the couple had gone to bed, the enraged wife picked up her kitchen knife and cut off her husband’s manhood while he was deep asleep.                “The scream of the man woke his neigbours who rushed to his house only to discovered his penis on the floor while he bled profusely; but he was rushed to a private clinic in the neighborhood where he is presently receiving medical attention”, he stated.

Our reporters also gathered that the aggrieved woman took to her heels after committing the act and no one knows her whereabout at the time of filing this report.

When contacted, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Deputy Superintendent of Police Daniel Ezeala said he was yet to be briefed on the matter.
