Four LECTURERS DIE in Motor Accident: Four lecturers of the Igbinedion University died yesterday in auto crash near Ekiadolor in Edo State. Edeson Online News learnt that the lecturers, all from the Department of Business Administration, were on their way to Benin when the accident occurred. An eyewitness said that a trailer coming from Benin, in an attempt to avoid a failed portion on the road, drove on the lane of the on-coming Audi car with the lecturers, forcing it to crash into a river.
FACEBOOK MURDER: police find CYNTHIA’s NUDE photos in killer's laptop: Policemen attached to the Area E Division of the Lagos State Police Command said they discovered nude photos of Cynthia and that of many other girls in a laptop belonging to the man who lured Cynthia to Lagos and murdered her, Nwabufor Okwuomo. The police said some of the photos showed girls beaten up, tied with rope and their mouths covered with cello-tape. Cynthia's nude photos were taken after she was drugged and unconscious. Also, Cynthia's phone was found with a Port Harcourt based business man who said he bought the phone from a friend in Lagos. Meanwhile the ill-fated Cynthia Osokogu will be buried today.
New AIRPORT Terminals To Be Constructed: The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved N106 billion for the construction of 11 new international airport terminal buildings, Aviation Minister Stella Oduah announced on Thursday. Oduah told a news conference in Abuja that the amount was approved at the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday. She said the new international terminal projects were different from the ongoing remodeling and reconstruction of 11 airports in the country.

Federal Polytechnic, Oko Collaborates With Indian University:
The
Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with an Indian University, to collaborate on Nano
Technology last Friday. The signing took place at the office of the
Rector, Prof Godwin Onu. Nano
Technology, which has to do with the application of very minute things to get
better quality products, cuts across all fields of sciences such as Chemistry,
Biology, Physics Material Sciences and Engineering. The Vice-Chancellor of the Indian Varsity
Prof. NS Gajbhiye, expressed hope that the five-year agreement would afford
both institutions the opportunity to explore other areas of research, adding
that he was impressed by the commitment shown by the polytechnic.

Eagles Fail to Qualify for 2013 AFCON: Ahead of the
African Nations Cup crunch with the Lone Stars of Liberia, Super Eagles head
coach, Stephen Keshi, has said that he would not wait to be fired if his team
fail to pick the ticket to South Africa. Speaking in a media chat in Abuja
Keshi, whose contract is tied to qualification for the Nations Cup and reaching
the semifinals as well qualifying for the World Cup, told journalists that it
would be disastrous not to go to the Nations Cup for the second time in a row
