for the dissolution of his 12-yr-old marriage in a Grade A Customary
Court, Ojo, Lagos complained about his wife doesn’t cook, bath or take
care of the children, instead, she leaves all the works to the house
help and spends all her time browsing FACEBOOK. As early as 6.am, she
is already seated on the sofa with her legs crossed browsing FACEBOOK.
Mr. Okeke further accused his wife of shamelessly sleeping with many men she met on FACEBOOK. He was worn out by his wife’s excesses and decided to sought his mother’s intervention. He asked his mother to talk to his wife so that she can change but surprisingly, one fateful day, when Okeke went to work. His wife beat up his mother recklessly and asked her to go back to the village.
What pained Okeke so much was when his wife abandoned their 8 month old baby and disappeared to an unknown destination for over 3 days. She was later caught red-handed having SEX with her FACEBOOK lover. In reaction, the wife pointedly told her husband that it was because he wasn’t man enough to give her satisfaction she craved in bed was the reason for her promiscuity.
Mr. Okeke couldn’t endure all the mess from his wife and asked the court to dissolve the marriage.
