The annual
elections of the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP)
reportedly ended in violence yesterday Sunday August 9th as they
gathered to elect a new president. According to eye witness, the
prostitutes resorted to fighting after the result of their presidential
election was disputed by the prostitute who lost. Trouble began
when the former secretary, Jessica Elvis was declared winner after
getting 300 votes to defeat the incumbent, Madam Felix Efoyo, who
garnered 153 votes, while their

Authorities of the University of Lagos on Sunday disowned the randy lecturer, Dr. Akin Baruwa, who reportedly raped an 18-year-old admission seeker.

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to head the Ministry of Petroleum for 18 months before appointing a substantive minister for the ministry, The PUNCH has learnt. The President said this while meeting with some members of his political party, the All Progressives Congress, in Abuja recently.
