---EFCC seize former Bayelsa Governor Timipre Sylva's properties--

--- Sylva begs Court to stop EFCC---ABUJA – Spirited efforts by the embattled former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, to invoke the powers of a Federal High Court in Abuja with a view to stopping the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from taking possession of his 48 choice properties in Abuja, failed.

According to The Times of India, a 28-year-old Nigerian student allegedly committed suicide after jumping off the second floor of his rented accommodation in Sector 41. Police said preliminary probe suggests that the deceased, Kelvin Lakoju, aka 'Biggie' was in depression.

A lady believed to be in her early twenties has been raped to an unconscious state by four men around Cemetery Road in Warri, Delta State.
