Duchess Of Cambridge Wife, Prince Williams Wife Delivers Baby Boy

The new addition to the royal family has arrived! Kate, Prince William's wife, gave birth to a baby boy, the couple's third child. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. The Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William's wife, gave birth to a baby boy on Monday, Kensington Palace said.

Kate left hospital holding the baby in her arms, on Monday evening, alongside William, waving at hundreds of assembled well-wishers and journalists before heading back to their official London residence, Kensington Palace.

The baby is her and Prince William's third child, following Prince George, aged four, and Princess Charlotte, who turns three in May.

The boy is Queen Elizabeth II's sixth great-grandchild and fifth in line to the throne, after grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William and the two older siblings.

The new arrival places Prince Harry, who will marry US actress Meghan Markle in May, to sixth place in the line of succession.
