A fight broke out backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards on Friday between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy that resulted in shots being fired .. sources at the awards tell Edeson Online News. 

According to our sources, Ross and Jeezy exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. We're told BET security and bodyguards for each of the rappers eventually separated the two. 

Our sources on the scene say that after the fight had been broken up, a member of Rick Ross' entourage pulled out a gun while in the parking lot and shots were fired. It is unclear if the man was arrested.


Samsung wins reconsideration of Galaxy Phone sales ban

Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) SUSPENDS Strike


The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has suspended its strike in some states over the non-implementation of 27.5 per cent increase on the prevailing basic salaries of teachers. A statement signed by the Assistant Director of Press, Mr Samuel Olowookere, on Friday in Abuja, said the suspension followed the intervention of the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu. It said that during a meeting with the Federal Ministry of Education and NUT leadership, the minister appealed to the union for time to address the issues of concern.
