South Africa, meaning, all races, both blacks and whites were allowed to
vote. Before 1994, blacks were forbidden to vote in south africa. The
general election lasted for 3 days. Nelson mandela of the ANC party won
the election and became the first black president of south africa.
Mandela tenure as president ended in 1999, he didn’t contest for second
term.

CURRENT AFFAIRS: Olisah Metuh is Seriously Sick, Unconscious in Hospital after Accident
Reports reaching Edeson Online News reveal that PDP National
Publicity Secretary, Olisah Metuh is seriously sick and currently at the
Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital, Abuja. We learnt
the embattled Secretary fell off his chair and slumped at the party's
National Secretariat in Abuja today April 26. He was immediately rushed
to Hospital. As at the time of filing this report, Metuh was
unconscious.
