ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Famous Yoruba Actor, Inspector Skede Is Dead

 Veteran actor Fashola Funsho Ogunremi popularly known as Inspector Skede is dead. Barely five weeks after the death of veteran Yoruba actor Ajigijaga, Skede joined him. Skede is a well known for playing the role of a police officer thus the stage name Inspector Skede. Skede was said to have been battling with two deadly diseases, congestive cardiac failure and diabetics both ailment were said to have left a big hole in his pocket.

SAD NEWS: PHOTO: Girl Who Survived Fire Incident That Killed 7 Family Members In Lagos Dies -

Chidinma, the little girl who survived the fire incident that killed 7 members of a family, has died. She suffered some facial burns during the unfortunate incident. According to reports, she died this afternoon at the Gbagada General Hospital where she was receiving medical attention. So sad. RIP!

 The National Space Research and Development Agency NASRDA, says Nigeria will experience a Lunar Eclipse on Sept. 28th. Lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the earth comes in-between the sun and the moon, and the earth casts its shadow on the moon, so that the moon appears reddish. A statement by the agency which was signed and released yesterday September 9th by the Deputy Director. Media and Corporate Communications, Felix Ale, says the lunar eclipse would begin on Monday September 28th from 1:11am, and will be at its maximum

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State yesterday took a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari saying the only achievement recorded by the administration has been the harassment of leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. POLITICS: Shame As Power failure Disrupts Senate Probe On Power Sector


The ongoing probe of the power sector from 1999 till date by the Senate ad hoc committee was characterized by drama and confusion yesterday, as the proceeding was disrupted by power failure eight times. Yesterday’s proceeding started at about 11:30a.m. and ended abruptly at 4p.m. due to about 15 minutes of power failure at intervals, for eight different times, from 2p.m. when the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power, Ambassador Godknows Igali, was making a submission on behalf of the various electricity companies.
