POLITICS: INEC Registers Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) As New Political Party

The Independent National Electoral Commission has registered the Democratic People’s Congress as a political party. In a letter dated July 8, 2015, with reference number INEC/DEPM/DPC/511/11 and signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Augusta Ogakwu, the commission said the Democratic People’s Congress was registered at its meeting on Friday June 19, 2015. It further stated that the party constitution, manifesto, logo, flag and the list of the National Executive Officers were also approved, adding that the certificate of registration would be issued in due course.
