The Edo State Government has declared a work-free day in the state on Wednesday. This is to celebrate the historic victory of General Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, in the 2015 presidential election. The state Governor, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, has invited the people of the state to a victory party, which will hold at the Oba Ovoranmwen Square, Benin City, starting from 3pm on Wednesday.

Controversial Nigerian actress, Afrocandy, has expressed her decision to stay away from Nigeria if former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, is declared winner of the presidential election held over the weekend. The actress observed that the poll has been more of tribal sentiments than choice of the people. DAY TWO, ELECTION RESULTS: PDP vs APC (PART 5)
The presidential election results for 26 states has so far been announced and right now, APC is still leading with 10,462,670 votes while PDP has 9,953,432 votes. The difference is 509,238 votes. The election announcement will continue in about 30mins. They are on recess. We still have Sokoto, Borno, Zamfara, Kebbi, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Bauchi, Delta and Edo. Fingers crossed!
ELECTION RESULT: INEC Chairman Prof. Jega Rejects APC Petition To Cancel Rivers Election
INEC chairman, Attahiru Jega has brushed aside, the petition from the All Progressives Congress, asking the commission to cancel elections held in Rivers State.
